About Us "Akaki Tsereteli Batumi Public Library" is a Non-Entrepreneurial (Non-Commercial) Legal Entity (NLE). It was established in accordance with the Organic Law of Georgia "Local Self-Government Code", the Civil Code of Georgia, the Laws of Georgia "On Library Science" and "On Culture", and the legal acts of the Batumi City Hall.

The library serves as a premier cultural, educational, and scientific-information institution in the region.
